go to your DJ panel at the top you will see "credits" click that on the left it says "buy credits" Posted by Eddie on Aug 07, 2012 at 11:34 UK. if I click through it displays a message "Sorry, credits are not available at this time." Posted by Kev36663 on Aug 07, 2012 at 11:42 UK. Tim probably disabled premium services when he announced the closure of 1Radio and has forgotten to enable them since his change of mind. You lose credits if you do a no show, stop encoding too early or unbook a slot with less than 16 hours before the start of the booked the slot. It used to be 12 hrs before but that has since changed. I think I cancelled one morning around 6am, which would have been 12 hours, but deffo wasn't 16... boo... nevermind... Tim, can we turn credits back on please - I'd like to try and do some more shows...? Posted by Kev36663 on Aug 07, 2012 at 13:09 UK. Yep, it seems premium services are all unavailable just now Kev. Hopefuly it's temporary and Tim will turn them back on soon, as I've one I want to buy, now I know the station is going to keep going Posted by DJ Ghost on Aug 07, 2012 at 13:21 UK. so if u do cancel its at least a day before now - mmmmm - 16hrs now not 12 - ok Posted by Dazzle on Aug 07, 2012 at 16:08 UK. I emailed Tim a couple weeks ago asking for credit buying to be re-enabled. He will probably get around to it. Posted by Espy on Aug 08, 2012 at 00:05 UK. ok, since it seems Tim is trying to get rid of people cancelling shows, I think a 4 credit fine (plus the credit you used to book the slot) should be given for any show cancellation prior to it airing, regardless of how far back you unbook it, you could unbook it 3 weeks before and you still lose the credit and get a fine. If it happens after it starts airing (no show/cancelled by moderator), that should be a 9 not 4 credit fine (still losing the credit you used to book the slot). Perhaps that system would encourage people to keep their booked slots? Posted by DJ Paladinleeds on Aug 08, 2012 at 02:33 UK. charging additional credits for late cancellations sounds like an OK idea to me. it would certainly help to discourage people from doing it. Posted by Espy on Aug 08, 2012 at 03:04 UK. However, I think a bigger problem we have to contend with right now is a lack of presenters. Posted by Espy on Aug 08, 2012 at 03:05 UK. Ok, so let's tier it then. Cancelling with over 168 hours before the show, 4 credit fine + losing your booking credit Cancelling with between 168 and 144 hours, 9 credit fine + losing your booking credit Cancelling with between 144 and 120 hours, 14 credit fine + losing your booking credit Cancelling with between 120 and 96 hours, 19 credit fine + losing your booking credit ... Cancelling with between 24 and 0 hours, 44 credit fine + losing your booking credit Having your show cancelled mid show, 49 credit fine + losing your booking credit No-show, 3 month ban, plus a 999 credit fine + losing your booking credit. Ok, now that's very strict, but I do think it'll work. Plus no-shows really do become the spawn of evil for the presenter. And yes, you CAN have negative credit counts. Which means you then have to buy extra credits to be able to continue broadcasting. Posted by DJ Paladinleeds on Aug 08, 2012 at 03:28 UK. You'd soon run out P seeing that you are one of the worst offenders. The 16 hour rule is fine, losing one credit. Things happen and people can't always predict 3 weeks in advance. What you are proposing is ridiculous. Someone just joining books a slot, finds they have something on that night so unbooks then they have no credits left. Exit one new presenter, more empty slots. If someone misuses auto-booking, that is a different matter, which is why Tim has a rule that you lose that privilege if you keep unbooking slots. I have unbooked slots before the 16 hour dead line because I have felt unwell and wasn't sure I'd be up to broadcasting, I have also done broadcasts when I have felt really ill. We need to encourage new presenters and those not bothered about being here will disappear from DJ list as they fail to do shows. So come up with some ideas to get new blood here. Posted by DJ Ceejay on Aug 08, 2012 at 05:34 UK. oh trust me Ceejay, if it came into effect I would personally get Tim to backdate every one for me, but only backdate it for me. And that's from when I started it. And to make matters worse, just for me, every credit would cost £1'000'000. Trust me, I would be outta here then as I can't afford that. What I am proposing is a super-strict way to deal with people that do it. But tweaking it slightly so it is super brutal to me. You want me to be ridiculous? Yes, I will be, but only if it affects me. In fact, why don't we get Tim to unbook every slot I have already and remove all my credits right here right now? As a punishment for all my late unbookings? As well as blocking me from ever being able to purchase more credits. Then I can't be an offender for that anymore can I?
