1Radio has an opt-in subscriber list of over 1000 people - we occassionally send messages to this list to promote shows and special events.

Last weekend we promoted Sven's indie show using this list and had our largest number of listeners to date.

If you are long standing member of 1Radio (having done more than 50 shows) and would like to promote a special show through this list, then let us know.

You need to tell us
- the title of your show
- date and time (GMT)
- a brief description
- what makes the show different from the rest
- why people should listen

Note - we WONT use this list to promote your regular show. To be promoted, you need to demonstrate you are producing a "special" show where you will provide something more than back to back music - eg chat between songs with authority, interest and knowledge, run contests, include invited guests, receive calls during the show etc

If your show is suitable, we will work with you to create a special advert for posting on Facebook, Myspace and elsewhere and will send it to our distribution list.

I'm just wondering, would The Confessional count under this. I mean it's not exactly a "special" show (in the regard that I do it on a weekly basis), but it is a talk show, and we do different subjects. Much like Rhodders and Helpsy. Would that make us 3 eligible for use in the newsletter?

i've promoted helpsy and rhodders shows in the past. after you've established your show over a few weeks, i will take a listen and decide whether or not to promote it.
