About Jamie Dyer
Welcome to Jamie Dyer's Bio. First beginning the presenter journey on an FM station back in 08, leading onto internet stations and now 1Radio, the craft of presenting and confidence has taken some time to develop. Playing a mixture of all decades and popular genres, you never know quite what you are going to get on a Jamie Dyer radio broadcast. Growing up listening to Status Quo, Boyzone and just about every 90s cheese song going, it has turned his shows into an unusual insight into the odd. Some of the trends that have been present in music over the years have been very odd. This was demonstrated in a 24 hour broadcast on the 8th of July 2011,, where over £300 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Jamie is also a keen screenwriter, writing proposed TV series and short films. He also has a go at Amateur film making, and is a keen musician. Also a keen vinyl collector and tries to play some on a regular basis. Jamie is also a Gamer, gaming since the early 90s and takes a particular interest in the Retro side of the medium.
