The 1Radio Dating Website

Shoutbox chatter was often the source of inspiration for new features and functionality for the website.

Likewise, funny ideas and sketches might also take shape based on something you see in the shoutbox or read in the forum.

One such conversation centred on the idea of a dating website. I saw this topic stretch over a number of days.

Whilst I was never going to build such a thing, it did inspire me to record a sketch.

Over the course of a show, I trailed the idea of a new dating feature coming to 1Radio. After much promotion and teasing, I then claimed to have someone doing a live trial on the air.
